“On Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1:48 p.m., the Oceanside RCMP were called to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle at Kinkade Road and Island Highway West in Qualicum beach,” said Oceanside RCMP Cpl. Jesse Foreman. “A northbound 2008 Harley Davidson Motorcycle being operated by a 63-year-old Qualicum Beach resident lost control and crossed the centerline after coming across traffic that had stopped for the lead vehicle in the line to turn.”
