Mini bus catches fire on Blanshard at Fort Street in downtown Victoria

Firefighters battle blaze in a Wilsons Transportation bus

Firefighters were battling a bus fire on the corner of Blanshard and Fort Street at about 8:25 a.m. Wednesday.

The vehicle appears to be Wilsons Transportion 24-person ‘Mini Coach’ bus routinely used for airport shuttle routes. Police had blocked off the road along Blanshard Street and one officer on the scene was not yet able to provide more information.
