Five years later, police still searching missing Comox Valley mother

It has been five years since 27-year-old mother Julia Strobach went missing and the Comox Valley RCMP is appealing to the public once more for information regarding her disappearance.

It has been five years since 27-year-old mother Julia Strobach went missing and the Comox Valley RCMP is appealing to the public once more for information regarding her disappearance.

Strobach was last seen on Oct. 31, 2013 on the 1000-block of Braidwood Road in Courtenay.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’9” tall with green eyes and an average build. Strobach had dyed bright red hair at the time she disappeared and may have been carrying a backpack.

“In the last five years, police have interviewed dozens of witnesses and followed up on dozens of tips,” said Corp. Jason Jenkins of the Major Crime Unit with the Comox Valley RCMP.

“We will continue moving forward with the investigation until we find out what happened to Julia.”
