Ever wanted to own your own island?

Well, now you can, as long as you have $3.6 million.

West Ballenas Island was posted for sale in February by Maxcel Westcoast Realty Ltd.

The vacant land is part of a pair of islands located in the Strait of Georgia, north of Nanoose Bay. According to Wikipedia, West Ballenas Island is privately owned, while South Ballenas Island remains Crown land held by the Government of Canada.

The real estate website Zolo states the estimated mortgage is $13,251 per month.
