The Pacific Rim National Park Reserve issued a boil water advisory on Thursday morning.
The advisory was announced around 9:50 a.m. and states “higher than normal chlorine levels” have been detected in the Park Reserve’s water system and crews are currently working on fixing the problem.
It suggests all Park Reserve visitors should boil water for at least two minutes before drinking.
The Westerly News has reached out to Parks Canada and will update this story as new information comes in.
