UPDATE: The 18-year-old who was missing has been located and is safe and sound, say Nanaimo RCMP.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED: Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old who recently said some things that have her caregivers concerned for her safety and well-being.

According to a police press release, Trisha Harry did not return to her home on Monday, May 9, as expected, and recently made some “troubling comments.”

She has been known to travel as far as North Cowichan as she has friends and family residing in that area.

She is described as 5-foot-7, 140 pounds, and recently dyed her hair blue.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2022-15498.
