16-year-old Nanaimo girl missing, RCMP ask for public’s assistance

A Nanaimo teen who left her house Tuesday night and didn’t come home is now being considered missing.

Nanaimo RCMP issued a press release today, Oct. 10, asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Trisha Harry, who was last seen at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in south Nanaimo when she left her home on foot.

“Repeated attempts to contact her have proven negative. Her behaviour has her immediate family and caregivers concerned for her safety and well-being,” the press release notes.

Harry is indigenous, 5-foot-4 with a medium build and medium-length black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey pants and light-coloured shoes. The submitted photo is recent.
