Witnesses are sharing dramatic images on social media after a commercial dump truck and trailer crashed on the Malahat.

The crash closed Highway 1 in both directions near Bamberton the afternoon of Sept. 28.

Malahat Drive was closed between Whittaker Road and Butterfield Road.
