Sproat Lake Regatta returns July 13–15

Annual event takes place at Sproat Lake Provincial Park

The annual Sproat Lake Regatta returns this weekend with a boat and car show on July 13, and a full schedule of boat racing at Sproat Lake Provincial Park July 14–15.

The boat show kicks off at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 13 at a new location: in front of Westcoast Home Hardware in the Alberni Mall, 3550 Johnston Rd. Racing kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 14 with a top fuel exhibition, and wraps up around 4 p.m. Sunday’s events take place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. All events are weather permitting.

Admission is free; parking is in the far public lot at Sproat Lake (parking near the boat ramp is reserved for competitors and boat trailers).
