Cosplayers, comic book, science fiction and video game aficionados descended on Nanaimo Harbourfront Library for the third annual GeekCon Saturday, March 24.
The drop-in event saw people dressed up as their favourite characters, board games, sword fights (with foam swords) and a shield-making workshop.
