Steve Miller and Peter Frampton have both carved out a reputation over the past decades for their inspired songwriting and powerful live shows.

The two rock giants got together last year for a summer tour and it went so well they decided to extend that partnership into 2018, with 40 dates on the calendar including an April 14 gig in Victoria at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

In addition to distinctive sets from both the Steve Miller Band and Frampton’s band, fans will also thrill to watching the two guitarists together onstage midset to create some of the most compelling jamming of the season.

Miller, who is also marking a special musical milestone, spoke enthusiastically of the 2018 tour earlier this year.

“Music is ethereal, it moves back and forth between the past and the future,” he said. “I’m very excited to announce that 2018 is our 50th anniversary of recording and touring together as the Steve Miller Band and we plan to travel between the psychedelic sixties through the future with a vengeance!”

For diehard fans of the bands, the Canadian portion of the tour also stops in Abbotsford (April 16), Kelowna (18th), Calgary (20th), Edmonton (21st), Saskatoon (23rd) and Winnipeg (24th).

Tickets for the Victoria show run between $39.50 and $99.50. Meet and greet and VIP Tour packages are also available with Peter Frampton. Visit selectyourtickets.com or the Save-On-Foods Memorial centre box office to purchase or find more information.
