The cream of the dance crop is coming to Victoria on Oct. 4.

For the second time, the World of Dance Live Tour will host the hit NBC show’s cross-country tour at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Audience members of all ages can watch this season’s stars of World of Dance, as well as YouTube sensations and industry legends show off their best moves. Bringing together hip-hop, jazz, contemporary and more, the 90-minute global spectacle displays the human body’s full capability.

A prime example is Season 3’s winner The Kings. The Indian group’s routines involve slick synchronicity, acrobatic leaps and enormous flips, all done at lightning speed. The group’s final performance, a dance-fight routine, gained a perfect score of 100.

This season featured Vancouver Island teens Jacksun Fryer and Carlow Rush, known as the hip-hop duo Funkanometry, but they were eliminated before the finals.

World of Dance began in 2008 as a competition, before moving to the small screen in 2016. The live tour sold out in Victoria last year and heads from B.C. to Ontario during the tour’s Canadian leg.

Tickets start at $27.50. To purchase them online or find more information, go to sofmc.com/. You can also purchase tickets at the Select Your Tickets box office at the arena.
