VIDEO: Bear bath time a big draw at North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre

Knut and Rae delight onlookers

Bath time for two resident black bears at the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre has become a prime attraction at the popular facility in Errington.

Knut and Rae have had playful moments during bath time, much to the delight of visitors. The bigger Knut often hogs the tub with Rae trying his best to get in the water but with little success.

During the month of July and August, the centre held Discover Bear presentations featuring both black bears.

The North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre is a non-profit organization that cares for the well-being of Vancouver Island wildlife and strive to educate the public.

Anyone wishing to visit the North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre can do so at 1240 Leffler Rd., Errington.
