The annual Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock event is just around the corner. Law enforcement and emergency services personnel cycle across Vancouver Island to raise money for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society. This year, Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock riders will cycle more than 1,200 kilometres across the varied terrain of Vancouver Island from Sept. 24 to Oct. 7. To detail the event and in particular what’s happening in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area, PQB News/VI Daily editor Philip Wolf chats with board member Anissa Rak.
