The Oak Bay High class of ’22 gathered on the shores of Willows Beach to celebrate with family and friends Friday (May 20).
The tradition of a different neighbourhood hosting a block party each year shifted in 2019 when the 365 grads that year hit Willows Beach instead.
In 2020 and 2021 parents and schools found other ways to celebrate graduates in less public ways due to provincial health restrictions.
The class holds its recognition ceremony June 23 at the University of Victoria.
