The driftwood bird sculptures at Esquimalt Lagoon have been prepped for the holidays.
The birds, built by Langford resident Paul Lewis, are adorned with festive Santa and elf hats now, adding a pop of Christmas colour to the unusual artwork bordering the ocean.
“I just thought I’d bring some holiday cheer to the Lagoon,” Lewis said.
