The Canyon View Trail in the north end of Campbell River, from the pumphouse to Canyon Bridge, is closed from March 4 to 28.

The Canyon View Trail in Campbell River will be closed for most of March, according to the BC Parks website.

The closure from March 4 to 28 will be to safely remove and reconstruct damage boardwalks to the north side of the river. The complete loop will be inaccessible during this time.

BC Parks says the closure will be in place from the north toilet location, which is above the pumphouse, to Canyon Bridge. Trails are open on the south side of the river. Millennium Trail, suspension bridge and the ridge/water tower trails remain open in Elk Falls Park.

For your safety and that of work crews, BC Parks asks the public to adhere to all closure measures in place.
