LETTER – Reader urges rational approach to climate change debate

Since it’s New Year resolution time, might I suggest this might be a good year to put the global warming climate scam to rest? Sooke’s climate and climate future are fine. Thank you very much!

The confusion created by global warming alarmists should not limit our use of natural gas, which Canada has enough of to supply the world for decades. I write this as I watch the warm flicker of my gas fireplace, which will warm many cold evenings in the months ahead.

Those still taking advice from the climate alarmists may consider that even a founding member of Greenpeace like Patrick Moore, has sought to counter this alarmist game.

Controlling genuine pollution in 2024 is very welcome. Building more overpriced bat- and bird-killing windmills and useless solar farms is not a good idea.
