In Loving Memory ~
Mary passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 25, 2023 at the age of 97.
Mary is survived her grandchildren Clayton Hoffman, Nicholas Carriere, Barbara (Rick) Lemire, great grandchildren Joshua Lemire, Matthew Lemire, and her Son-in-laws Ken Hoffman, and Roland Carriere.
She is preceded by her Husband Arthur Rowe, Son Daniel Rowe, Daughters Sandra Carriere and Arlene Hoffman.
Mary was born in Brandon Manitoba where she grew up with her Mother, brothers and sisters. This is where she met and married Art during WW2.
After the war ended she move with Art to his home town of Port Alberni. They bought their home and raised their family here. They loved the peace and beauty of the island and were content to stay in the Valley for the rest of their days.
Mary had a strong faith and great love for Jesus. She was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed on March 28th, 1954.
Mary will be missed by all who knew her and whom she held in her prayers.

A funeral service will be held for Mary on December 15th, 2023 at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Port Alberni.
