In Loving Memory ~
Francois passed away suddenly following a brief illness. Born in Montreal, he moved to BC as a young man.
An avid outdoorsman, Francois began working as a commercial fisherman and diver, then later joined the Royal BC Museum staff where he spent a decade before retiring.
He loved hunting, fishing and working on his farm with his family.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, mother and 5 siblings. His strength, kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
A funeral mass will be held December 18 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Nanaimo, with interment to follow immediately at Cedar Valley Cemetary.
