Oceanside RCMP reported that the pickup truck believed to have been driven by Sara Sherry and last seen in the area of Highway 19 and Northwest Bay Logging Road in Nanoose Bay on Feb. 15, was located by searchers on Friday afternoon.

Police said that searchers located the grey 2017 Nissan Frontier pickup on a logging road in the vast back country approximately 20 kilometres south of Highway 19 and Northwest Bay Logging Road.

Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP said the vehicle was located in a ditch approximately 15 metres from a logging road and Sherry was not located with or near the vehicle.

If you see Sara or have any information as to her whereabouts, please contact police immediately.”
